Closer to Nature, Closer to God. IMG_96058779238790

As I begin my creation spirituality journey, I remember one destination that suited to my faith. Caleruega Church or Chapel on the Hill is located at Nasugbu, Batangas; a perfect destination for family bonding, barkada reunion, romantic getaways, pre-nups, weddings or simply soul searching. Anyone can be inspired by their beautiful landscape and fine architecture. The church simply gets in identity from the Caleruega church in Spain run by Dominican brothers.

I must say, the this place is my sanctuary as I embarked on knowing myself and my faith. It transforms me to a different world where God is with me exploring the wonders of nature. I physically safe here as well as my mind, heart and spirit. Its like the Lord is cuddling me from darkness and leading me to the path of wholeness. Caleruega is my home, my refuge and when I need to surrender everything to God, this must be the place.

  1. I love Caleruega so much. We had our retreat there 2 years ago. The people were so nice and accommodating. They surroundings are so peaceful and serene. Very suitable from reflecting and relaxing.
