One of my memorable adventures was in Amansinaya Mountain Resort in Laurel, Batangas because the place was exclusive for us that time. Going to Amansinaya is not easy as it requires different mode of transportation (talking with Tanauan- Talisay bound).
The resort is huge place but some parts of the resorts were still undeveloped. We get straight to Patio Filipino to register and ate our merienda.
After eating, we were headed to our home for the night. The tent!
Trekking to Ambon- Ambon Falls was relaxing and fun. It was just a simple 45 minute trek.
After the trek, we were welcomed with sumptous lunch.
Then, we decided to rest and enjoy free time. We decided to swim and explore the place.
Since the place was exclusive for us, we joked the whole night about beast, werewolves and “alay” , “piging” and “taga-pag ligtas”.
The following day… Breakfast before swimming…
Fun activities in the resort…
As we bid goodbye to Amansinaya, we rode a habal-habal going to Tagaytay
We never passed by Tagaytau without trying their specialty: Bulalo
Fees: We avail their group package Php. 24,000 for 10 persons (inclusive of tent accommodation, use of all resort amenities, guided tour to Ambon- Ambon falls and meals – Day 1 AM snacks, lunch, PM snacks, dinner and Day 2 Breakfast).
How to Get there:
1. Bus going to Nasugbu via Tagaytay. Get off at Splendido Tagaytay and ride a motorcycle going to Amansinaya ( Fare: 150 / head). This is the most convenient way.
2. Ride a bus going to Tanauan from Cubao. Get off at Tanauan Proper (fare Php. 66/ pax). From Tanauan ride a jeepney going to Laurel (Php. 45 / pax). Get off at Laurel City Hall and ride a tricycle going to Amansinaya (Php. 100/tricycle).
