Closer to Nature, Closer to God. 
As I begin my creation spirituality journey, I remember one destination that suited to my faith. Caleruega Church or Chapel on the Hill is located at Nasugbu, Batangas; a perfect destination for family bonding, barkada reunion, romantic getaways, pre-nups, weddings or simply soul searching. Anyone can be inspired by their beautiful landscape and fine architecture. The church simply gets in identity from the Caleruega church in Spain run by Dominican brothers.
I must say, the this place is my sanctuary as I embarked on knowing myself and my faith. It transforms me to a different world where God is with me exploring the wonders of nature. I physically safe here as well as my mind, heart and spirit. Its like the Lord is cuddling me from darkness and leading me to the path of wholeness. Caleruega is my home, my refuge and when I need to surrender everything to God, this must be the place.
I never get tired of going to this place again and again.
How to ge there: Via Public Transport: Proceed to Jam or DLTB Bus at Buendia Taft going to Nasugbu, Batangas. Get off at Ever Crest, Batual Nasugbu, Batangas. Tricycle service is available at Evercrest entrance or hike through a 2KM road to Caleruega.
